Birmingham City University's innovative new Design for Industry course exhibits the students lastest collection at the Helen Hulston shop in the city's Weston Arcade.

The collection consists of pieces designed and created with the use of laser technology in mind. 

"End of Heartbreak" is my featured piece and is created in solid sterling silver and 9ct gold featuring .10pts of diamonds. The use of laser welding in the piece enabled me to have the diamonds set prior to assembly so that they can be seen on the inside of the break in the heart. Although the design was inspired by the gothic and punk fashion trends of Autumn/Winter 08 "End of Heartbreak" is a timeless piece of jewellery that is always on trend.
